ABOUT

I’m a writer, director, and creative director based in the dystopian paradise of Los Angeles.

My background is in storyboard-driven animation, where writing and visuals are developed simultaneously. Over the past decade, I’ve worked across development, narrative, and visual storytelling at studios like Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Netflix, DreamWorks, Disney, Adult Swim, and more, helping shape projects through writing, staging, worldbuilding, visual development, and art direction.

In 2021, I created Learning with Pibby for Cartoon Network and Adult Swim, an original animated concept that reached over 40 million views online and won 3 Clio Awards. More recently, I’ve been working in franchise and narrative development for Supercell, helping develop stories and entertainment concepts based on game IP.

My work tends to orbit around genre mashups, strong visual identity, dark humor, emotionally sincere characters, and worlds with deep lore. I’m especially drawn to projects where story, character, design, and worldbuilding all evolve together.

Outside of professional work, I make comics, illustrations, and experiment with whatever mediums I can duct-tape together. When I'm not creating art, I play Magic: The Gathering and attempt to befriend the AI that will eventually take my job and marry my wife.
